We recently posted an article titled Economic Collapse Redux which has drawn a lot of attention and seen widespread circulation on the Internet. It appears as if many people across the country are just as concerned about the economy as we are. Interestingly, the timing of our article was coincident with the release of an on-line video that has taken the country and world by storm. Titled, The End Of America by Porter Stansberry, this video is - in our opinion - a well made and fiercely intelligent expose' of our current economic plight in America, with some pretty dark and dystopian thoughts about where we are headed as a country. In fact, the video has drawn such widespread attention - and controversy - that according to Alex Jones of Infowars.com the MSM has banned paid advertising to promote it.
Fear the days when the networks willingly turn down paid advertising!
And while we definitely are not in the business of giving financial advice at SurvivalOutpost.com, we are recommending that all our friends and customers take one hour out of their busy day and lives to review this compelling video. Whether you agree or not with the author's perspective and prognosis, the content of the video alone is instructive and his arguments are evocative. This is a must see.

Remember: you should prepare for an economic crisis in the same way that you would prepare for any emergency, 1) long term storage of Food & Water (including water filtration capabilities), 2) six months of personal hygiene & medication/first aid, 3) a diverse collection of survival tools such as lights, batteries, knives, stoves, fuel, etc., 5) personal protection and self defense devices (whatever form you are comfortable with), 6) a community network of like minded friends and family, and 7) a bug-out plan and mobile survival kit should you need to make a quick exit.
